Description

Statement of Work/Overview:
 
Complete a Renovation Study and Needs Assessment with Class D Design & Construction Estimates.  The Renovation Study will include data collection and analysis of information provided by the user groups and property manager, review of existing drawings, site survey and meetings with the client. In addition it will include identifying the mechanical, electrical and plumbing requirements at a high level that will require replacement and asbestos removal within the existing Drug Analysis Lab on the first floor and the existing Food Safety Lab on the second floor.  Deliverable to include detailed statement of architectural and technical requirements for each lab in addition to conceptual cost and schedule. Needs Assessment to include conceptual design options for each lab.  The purpose of this assessment is to select best scenario option for renovation.  This will include workflow, area and adjacency options, and budget and schedule analysis based on BGIS Project Delivery Process requirements, identified project deliverables and estimated design and construction duration.  Deliverable to include detailed statement of architectural and technical requirements of selected options and analysis of all options.  The Needs Assessment findings should be reviewed and approved by the client and BGIS before it is incorporated into the renovation study analysis.

    In the event that less than three Proponents attend the site tour, BGIS may cancel the solicitation or schedule an alternative site tour.
